Hey folks, today I would like to introduce Soul Samurai Build in Elden Ring, this is a new samurai build that focuses on the method of using a katana as well as using some magic spells. If you've been trying to play a magic samurai type build, this one seems to be what a lot of people are using.

Firstly let's talk about the weapon we're using with this build, the Nagakiba, one of my favorite overall weapons in this game, in this one we're using the Keen Nagakiba in order to use dexterity for the physical damage of this weapon has very good dexterity scaling.

When it comes to the Staff, the Academy Glintstone Staff. The reason for that is my intelligence at this point is at 60, as your dexterity and intelligence get higher, you'll probably swap this out for the Carian Regal Scepter at some point, but at this point of the game the Academy Glintstone Staff actually outperforms the Carian Regal Scepter. My intelligence is not high enough, so when you're approaching about 70 intelligence, you'll probably want to swap over to that.

The armor I'm using for this build has a lot of different ways you can try. I'm using the Black Knife set here, if you're using the Black Knife Armor Set, you'll muffle your sound while you're moving around, which will allow you to assassinate enemies who don't see you. Whatever the armor isn't super important though, so make sure you just pick the one you like.

Then the talismans for this build I'm using Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion Charm, Millicent's Prosthesis and Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman.
*Shard of Alexander could increase the damage with double slash.
*Magic Scorpion Charm is there to increase not only the damage of your weapon when you're buffed, but also the spells that you do.
*Millisense Prosthesis could also increase your damage as you hit rapidly, and also give you five dexterity.
*Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman just increase our protection further.

I use a lot of different spells for this build, and you can obviously supplement these spells with whatever spells you like, because there's really no limit here other than the intelligence rate. We have 60 intelligence so you can use any spells that are up to that requirement, which is most of them.

The one I recommend is Greatblade Phalanx, this spell is absolutely great for staggering enemies, nice to have it if you want to get a little stagger damage on an enemy, or just get some time to prep damage into them before they close to you.
