  • Elden Ring: Best Faith & Dexterity Build In Patch 1.09.1 - The Godslayer Build

    Posted: Jul 27, 2023

Here, I will introduce my Godslayer build in Elden Ring Patch 1.09.1.

    Gear

Let's start with the more in-depth look at the gear so we can wreck anything and everything.

    Weapons

First up, we have our main weapon, the Godslayer's Greatsword +10 and we'll be having a lot of fun with its unique skill, which is called The Queen's Black Flame.

Now, it does have a bit of a long wind-up animation. But once you start spotting enemies punish windows, you will be doing a lot of punishing. Thanks to patch 1.09, Colossal Swords have increased attribute scaling.

In our offhand, we have the Godslayer Seal +25.

You can get the Godslayer's Greatsword in a chest behind the Godskin Apostle boss in the Divine Tower of Caelid.

You can get the Godslayer Seal in the stockroom in Stormville Castle behind an Imp Statue fog gate. You will need one Stonesword Key.

    Armors

In our armor slots, we have the Raging Wolf Head and chest piece and then glides gauntlets and greaves. This puts us at 51 poise for PVE keeps us at a medium load and looks pretty Elden Bling.

You can get the full Raging Wolf set from the Volcano Manor Questline and you can get blind set once you finish Ranni's Questline and you return to Ranni's Rise to fight a hostile Blaidd.

    Talismans

For our Talismans, we have the Shard of Alexander, boosting our Queen's Black Flame skill by 15%. We have the Flock's Canvas Talisman, boosting our incantations by 8%. We have the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, boosting our physical defense in PVE by 20%. And we have the Fire Scorpion Charm, boosting our fire damage by 12%.

You can get the Shard of Alexander from Iron Fist Alexander when beating him at the end of his questline in Crumbling Farum Azula.

Flock's Canvas Talisman can be received by Gowry when he's crying over Millicent.

The Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman is found in Elphael Brace of the Haligtree found on a chest on an elevated platform inside the large building in the Northeast guarded by several Pests.

The Fire Scorpion Charm can be found up the rampart on a wooden platform to the West Fort Laeidd in Mt Gelmir.

    Flask Of Wondrous Physick

In the Flask of Wondrous Physick, then I am simply using the Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear to boost our fire damage and then I'll use defensive tears, like the Opaline Hardtear or a stamina tear, like the Greenburst Crystal Tear.

The Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Greenburst Crystal Tear are dropped by the Erdtree Avatar found at the Minor Erdtree (Caelid).

The Opaline Hardtear here is dropped by the Putrid Avatar next to the Minor Erdtree north of Fort Farath in Caelid as well.

    Incantations

As for incantations, we have Golden Vow, boosting our attack in defense.

We have Flame, Grant Me Strength, boosting our attack and fire attack. We have Black Flame, which scales with your seal and does 2.5% of any boss's maximum health. And you can charge it for an extra 30% damage.

We have Scouring Black Flame again causing damage over time and can be charged for an extra 22% damage.

Then, we have Black Flame Ritual, which deals a decent 20% stance damage as well as fire damage.

    • We can get Golden Vow in Mt Gelmir at the Corpse-Stench Shack.
    • We can get Flame, Grant Me Strength in Caelid, around the back of Fort Gael.
    • Black Flame is unlocked for purchase after giving a Godskin Prayerbook to Brother Corhyn or Miriel Pastor of Vows.
    • Scouring Black Flame is dropped by the Godskin Apostle.
    • Black Flame Ritual is in the Spiritcaller Cave dropped by the Spiritcaller Snail that summoned the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble in a consecutive boss encounter.

Before we move on to the stats, we need to mention our oil pots. We are allowing ourselves some consumables in this one. Throwing an oil pot at an enemy will boost the fire damage they recede, so you'll need the following to make them.

The Crafting Kit can be purchased from Kale in the Church of Elleh.

You'll need Cracked Pots, which you can purchase throughout the game from various vendors.

You will need the Nomadic Warriors' Cookbook [17], which can be purchased on the Abandoned Merchant in Siofra River for 1000 Elden Ring Runes. Please note: if you use the code “CSCCA”, you can also get 5% off.

And you will need Melted Mushroom combined with your Cracked Pots to craft and Oil Pots.

These can be found growing in the Siofra River and Deeproot Depths.

    Stat Spread

It's time for the stat spread. I started with the Vagabond class.

We have Vigor at 60, Mind at 35, Endurance at 27, Strength at 34, Dexterity at 57, Intelligence at 9, Faith at 50, and Arcane at 7. And we're allowing ourselves Rune Level 200.

    Combat

Let's have a look at combat next.

It's pretty simple. We can spam the Queen's Black Flame on the Godslayer's Greatsword and we can switch between two handing the sword for the strength boost and one-handing it with our Godslayer Seal to give ourselves access to our Black Flame incantations.

These can be great for keeping distance between us and the bosses and chip away nicely at enemies health bars. You really can just keep switching it up depending on what you are fighting.

  • Elden Ring 1.09.1: How To Create New Master Shadows Build? - A Full Guide

    Posted: Jun 26, 2023

Today I’m going to talk about a build in Elden Ring that is super easy to create but also powerful against enemies, Shadow Build. This build is great for both beginners and experienced players. Let’s dive into the details!

The core of this build revolves around the combination of Ghostflame Ignition and Sorcery of the Servants of Death. So, get ready to witness the power of the best build in Elden Ring 1.09.1, because it will truly blow your mind!

    Weapon

Let’s start with Death’s Poker, my right-hand weapon. It seems like an unusual choice for a Two-Handed Sword. But its skill, Ghostflame Ignition, can cause intermittent icy damage to opponents standing on Trail of Fire. This skill consists of two stages, Trail of Cold Flames and Powerful Explosion.

Two-Handed Attack combines Dash Forward, Powerful Ground Kick and strong Vertical Kick to provide a balanced way to attack your opponent.

Ghostflame Ignition is a Pyromancy skill that depends primarily on Strength and Dexterity and secondarily on Intelligence. It can inflict 100% Magic damage and can be further enhanced by wearing a Spellblade Set.

The advantage of this weapon is that it accumulates Frostbite exponentially, adding mobility to your fighting style. When comparing these Two-Hand Weapons to competitors like Helphen’s Steeple and Godslayer’s Greatsword, I found Death’s Poker to be easier to use in every fight. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, I highly recommend you try this version of experience with its power.

    Staff

Now let’s turn to Prince of Death’s Staff. This Staff increases the power of Death Sorceries by 10%, and Intelligence and Faith by the same percentage.

Our main attack spell is Ancient Death Rancor, which buffs our Staff and does Magic damage. We can also use the charged version of the spell for extra damage.

Additionally, Godfrey Icon significantly increases our damage output. It’s an enhanced version of Rancorcall spell. Each Skull deals less damage individually, but can collectively form one of the most powerful damage.

    Armor

Turning to armor, we have Spellblade Set, which increases Magic damage by 2% for each part of the set. This effect only applies to Ashes of War. Since we’ll be using Staff’s Ashes of War all the time, this armor is a great addition to our building.

    Talismans Set

We won’t be using Early and Late Talismans Set in this setup. Spellblade Set is the only Set we use. Of course, you can also try other Sets. For example, Godfrey Icon increases the damage of charged spells and abilities by 15%.

Ritual Sword Talisman can increase attack power by 10% when the health bar is full. Shard of Alexander can greatly increase skill attack power by 15%. Or you can use Warrior Jar Shard for a 10% boost.

    Items

Now, let’s get to the important part. Buffs can help us deal more damage and survive longer on the battlefield. We have Bloodboil Aromatic, which increases Physical Damage by 30%, Max Stamina by 20%, and grants 25% of all Damage Negations for 60 seconds.

As a consumable, this is very useful in the field, so you can build up enough with as many Elden Ring Runes as you can before you start. But don’t worry, you can get 5% off with the code “CSCCA”.

From Prayer of Spells we get Golden Vow, which provides a buff that increases attack power by 15% and defense power by 10% for 80 seconds. Terra Magica increases Magic damage from any source by 35% for 30 seconds.

    Crystal Tears

Next, we have Crystal Tears. Combinations of these Tears maximize our build damage and survivability. When Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear is added to a potion, temporarily increases Magic Attack by +20%.

When Crimson Bubbletear is added to the miracle potion flask, it restores 30% of the player’s maximum health when the player has 20% of their health left. These tears are very useful and can provide a lifeline of survival that can keep us from dying.

Also, if that’s not enough, you can use spells like Meteorite of Astel and Comet Azur. Since the build focuses on Intelligence, you can also incorporate Moonveil and Adula’s Moonblade. The above is the whole content of this Shadow Build. I believe its effect will surprise you, hurry up and try it.

  • Elden Ring: Best Powerful & Strength Build In Patch 1.09.1 - The Executioner

    Posted: Jun 01, 2023

Of all the builds, this one really is the most OP and game breaking. We are using one of the nine legendary armaments, the Marais Executioner’s Sword and its boss melting Ash of War Eochaid’s Dancing Blade.

This build is all about successive hit attack boost multipliers, causing insane damage numbers to bosses. And because we have a high Arcane stat, we can also use Dragon Incantations. We also have our usual attack buffing incantations and all we have to do is wait for any boss’s punish window and unleash our health melting Corkscrew Ash of War.

And this overpowered and easy build is called the Executioner.

    The Gear

Let’s start the more in-depth look at the gear and setup so we can wreck anything and everything.

Our weapon of choice, as mentioned, is the Marais Executioner’s Sword +10. The unique skill on this sword, Eochaid’s Dancing Blade, is the foundation of this build. Thanks to patch 1.09, Great Swords have increased speed, range, and recovery time.

In our offhand, we have a Dragon Communion Seal +10, which we can use for dragging incantations, for mobbing and extra support. By the way, if your weapon is not up to the level I recommend, then you need to prepare enough Elden Ring Runes to achieve a quick upgrade.

As for the armor, we have the Mask of Confidence, giving us a boost to our Arcane stat to help us min max the stats and then, we have the Briar sets not just for Fashion Souls, but also we can damage enemies by rolling into them.

The Marais Executioner’s Sword drops from the Elemer of the Briar boss in the Shaded Castle. You can purchase the Briar Armor after defeating Elemer using his Bell Bearing in the round table holes. And the Mask of Confidence can be found on a corpse lying on the walls of the secret area of the Carian Study Hall unlocked using the Carian Inverted Statue. This can be done as part of Ranni’s questline. The Dragon Communion Seal is dropped by the Banished Knights in the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave right at the start of the game.

Next, let’s have a look at our seriously beefy Talismans.

Millicent’s Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia are stacking and boosting our attack power with successive hits. Millicent’s prosthesis is also giving us plus five to dex to help us min max our stats, which we’ll look at in a moment. We have the Shard of Alexander, which is boosting the power of our Eochaid’s Dancing Blade skill. And finally, the Godfrey Icon, which is also boosting our special skill thanks to it being chargeable.

Millicent’s prosthesis can be obtained by killing Millicent at the Windmill Heights Site of Grace after killing the Godskin Apostle there. This is the absolute earliest. It can be obtained the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is given by Millicent if you choose to help her defeat her sisters. The Godfrey Icon drops from Godefroy the Grafted found in the Golden Lineage Evergaol. You can get the Shard of Alexander from Iron Fist Alexander when beating him at the end of his questline in Crumbling Farum Azula.

In the Flask of Wonderous Physick, I have the Faith-knot Crystal Tear, giving us enough Faith to cast Golden Vow before each fight. And we have the Thorny Cracked Tear, boosting our attack further with successive hits by stacking with Millicent’s Prosthesis and the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.

The Faith-knot Crystal Tear can be found east of the Church of Pilgrimage just down a cliff surrounded by poisonous flower enemies. The Thorny Cracked Tear is dropped by the Putrid Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in the Consecrated Snowfield east of Ordina Liturgical Town.

As for Incantations, we have Golden Vow, which you can get in Mt Gelmir at the Corpse-Stench Shack; Flame, Grant Me Strength, which you can get in Caled around the back of Fort Dael. And as I mentioned, we can use dragging incantations as well for build up effects, so I have Dragonice and Scarlet Rot.

    Stat Spread

Let’s have a look at our stat spread. I started with the Hero class. We have Vigor at 60, Mind at 14, Endurance at 23 and Strength at 54. This gives us 81 Strength when two handing and raise Marais Executioner’s Sword. We don’t actually touch Dexterity but we get five points for Millicent’s Prosthesis. We don’t touch Intelligence. Faith is at 15. This is boosted to 25 thanks to the Faith-knot Crystal Tear in the physick for Golden Vow. And finally Arcane is at 47, being boosted to 50 thanks to the Mask of Confidence. This rounds us up to a very respectable rune level of 150.

    Combat - Corkscrew Em!

It’s time for combats. Like I say, it’s pretty simple.

We choke the classic Flask of Wondrous Physick and then buff with Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength before any fights. Wait for the boss to leave themselves open and just charge up and unleash your Eochaid’s Dancing Blade.

You’ll notice the successive hits attack boost multipliers kick in and you’ll immediately have most bosses down with one hit or at least at 50 Health. Also, it doesn’t hurt that we do chip damage to bosses by rolling into them with the Briar Armor. The Marais Executioner’s Sword is also just really good at being two-handed and has a unique heavy slam attack.

Now, as mentioned earlier with such a high Arcane stat, there is no reason why you can’t include dragging incantations in this build even if it’s just for mobbing and actually helping you get to bosses. The Dragonice incantation, for example, causes frost buildup and when procked, you are looking at a shared load more damage to enemies.
