Greataxe is a standard Great Axe Weapons, mainly scaled with Strength and Dexterity. This weapon has Barbaric Roar weapon skill by default, which increases your physical attack by 10%. Greataxe deals with insane damage with every attack.

However, it has a shorter attack range compared to other Greataxes. But its advantage is that it can be infused with Ash of War and buffed with magic and consumable, making it an excellent weapon for Strength build, especially ancient game.

How To Find Greataxe?

Here I will show you my level 150 Greataxe build. I’ll give you the exact location and stats of Greataxe, as well as the gear and Talisman you’ll need to create this build. This ensures that you can deal maximum damage to enemies while using this build. So let’s get started.

You can find Greataxe behind Moving Caravan next to Limgrave, west of Waypoint Ruins Area. I like to infuse this weapon with Flaming Strike Ash Of War and choose Fire as the primary weapon Affinities. Because it has the highest scaling compared to other Affinities.

Flaming Strike Ash Of War

As far as Flaming Strike Ash Of War goes, one thing I like about it is that you can fire that Flame in a wide forward arc. It’s also possible to cover your weapon with Flame as we follow up with a powerful sweeping attack.

For buffs and Protection, I like to use Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection. Golden Vow can help you increase damage by up to 15% and lasts for 80 seconds. The other is Black Flame’s Protection, which increases your Physical Damage Cancellation by 35%.

Items

For Seal, usually the most basic Finger Seal is enough for our use. We can get Finger Seal from Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold for 800 Elden Ring Runes. But don’t worry, you can also use the code “CSCCA” to get you 5% off.

We can also use some Talismans to increase my attack power and physical defense.

First, we can use Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, which reduces physical damage to us by 20%. The second is Shard of Alexander, which can greatly increase your skill attack power by 15% in a short time. The other is Bull-Goat’s Talisman. It quickly increases your Poise by 33% and reduces damage by 25%. Last but not least is Green Turtle Talisman. It increases your Stamina recovery speed by 8 points per second.

Plus, you can temporarily boost your status with a combo of two Crystal Tears. The first is Opaline Hardtear, which temporarily increases all damage negations in physical damage by 15% for 3 minutes. The other is Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear, which temporarily increases your Fire attack power to +20% for 3 minutes.

Gear

For Armor, I like to wear Crucible Axe Set Armor. It provides excellent protection and balance to my character. For a level 150 build, you’ll need to meet the basic requirements for Great Axe Weapons and Black Flame’s Protection spells.

In this build, Black Flame’s Protection requires 40 points of Vigor, 22 points of Mind, 32 points of Endurance, 75+ Strength to increase my attack power, 10 points of Dexterity, 30 points of Faith, but there is no change in Intelligence. And Arcane hasn’t changed how this build works.

Finally, for this build’s upgrade priority, you can choose to consume Crystal Tears first. Next cast Golden Vow Incantation and Black Flame’s Protection Incantation to buff your character. After that, you can start attacking with your weapon and perform Flaming Strike weapon skill to apply Flame to your weapon.
