Welcome back to my Elden Ring guide. Here I’ll show you my Morgott’s Cursed Sword build, with a focus on the use of its Cursed-Blood Slice skill.

Morgott’s Cursed Sword is a Curved Greatsword that mainly relies on Strength, Dexterity and Arcane scaling. The weapon itself requires 14 Strength, 35 Dexterity, and 17 Arcane to use properly. It has a weight of 7 and produces blood buildup by default.

The weapon skill for this weapon is called Cursed-Blood Slice. It allows the user to perform a charge, perform a wide Slicing attack, and leave a trail, which then causes a burst of flame explosion. After attacking, it can deal more damage and increase blood loss.

This ability deals with fire damage and physical damage. What I like about this skill is that the burst of flame explosion can also break the enemy’s poise. This allows for easy follow-up attacks, especially against similarly sized enemies, such as Malenia.

Morgott’s Cursed Sword

First you can get this Morgott’s Cursed Sword by trading Remembrance of The Omen King from Enia in Roundtable Hold.

Buffs & Protection

For buffs and protection, I recommend Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection. Golden Vow increases damage to +15% and negates all your damage to +10% for 80 seconds. The other is Black Flame’s Protection, which protects you from 35% of physical damage.

Seal

For Seal, the most basic Finger Seal is completely sufficient. You can find and get it from Twin Maiden Husks. It costs 800 Elden Ring Runes. It’s worth noting that you can also get 5% off with the code “CSCCA”.

Talismans

There are some Talismans that can be used to increase our attack power. With Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, you reduce the physical damage you take by 20%. Next, use Shard of Alexander to increase the attack power of Cursed-Blood Slice skill by 15%.

Another is Fire Scorpion Charm, which increases your fire damage by 12% as well as physical damage by 10%. This is useful for increasing attack power when using Cursed-Blood Slice skill. Finally, there’s Lord of Blood’s Exultation, which helps you increase your attack power by 20% for 20 seconds.

Crystal Tears

You can also use a combination of two Crystal Tears to boost the status of your skill effects temporarily. Among them, Opaline Hardtear can temporarily increase all physical damage reduction by 15% for 3 minutes. The other is Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear, which temporarily boosts your fire damage to +20% for 3 minutes.

Gear

Plus, Armor Sets give your characters maximum protection. For a helmet, White Mask is a brilliant choice. When bleeding occurs nearby, it increases your attack by 10% for 20 seconds.

Stats

The above equipment can meet the basic requirements of Morgott’s Cursed Sword build and Black Flame’s Protection. Also, I put most of the stats in Arcane to increase my blood loss.

For this build, I set Vigor at 40, Mind at 25, Endurance at 30, Strength at 14, and Dexterity at 35. Among them, Intelligence in Black Flame’s Protection requirement has not changed, and we set Arcane to 45 and above to increase the blood buildup.

Showcase

The way this build works is that first you can consume Crystal Tears to boost skill effect stats. Then cast Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection to enhance your character. Then you can cast Cursed-Blood Slice skill to attack the enemy.
