Sword of Night and Flame is a Straight Swords, mainly scaled according to Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith.

Overview

The weapon skill for this weapon is called Night-and-Flame Stance. With this skill, you can make two types of attacks. By pressing L2+R1 keys, you can cast Night, which deals with magic damage and increases Intelligence. This ability is similar to Comet Azur, but has a shorter duration.

By pressing L2+R2 keys, you can cast a Frenzied Burst, which deals with fire damage. It will upgrade its damage with the improvement of Faith. Flame attack is great against crowds, while Beam attack is very effective against single enemy targets. If you’re looking for a hybrid building of Intelligence and Faith. Then this weapon is for you.

Here I will show you my Sword of Night and Flame Build. You can find Sword of Night and Flame in Caria Manor chests. You can get there by jumping off the bridge from Manor Lower Level Site of Grace first.

Skills

For Protection and Buff, I like to use Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection. This allows you to increase your damage by up to +15% for 80 seconds. Another option is that you can use Flame, Grant Me Strength for increased fire damage and Terra Magica for increased magic damage.

I like to use Golden Vow because it increases both fire and magic damage with a single cast. The other is Black Flame’s Protection, which increases your Physical Damage Nullification by 35%. This is very useful as I use 2 Talismans to lower my physical defense for more damage.

For spells, I like to use Freezing Mist to apply frostbite to enemies in the surrounding area.

Items

For Seal, you can use the basic Finger Seal, which can be obtained by trading with Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold for only 800 Elden Ring Runes. Surprisingly, you can use code “CSCCA” to get 5% off.

For Staff, you can also use the most basic Staff, such as Glintstone Staff. This Staff drops from Caria Manor or Noble Sorcerers south of Waypoint Ruins.

Also, I can also use some Talismans to increase my attack power. With Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman, you take 20% less physical damage. 

There is also the Magic Scorpion Charm, which increases magic damage by 12% and physical damage by 10%. Last but not least is Fire Scorpion Charm, which increases fire damage by 12% and physical damage by 10%.

You can also use a combination of two Crystal Tears to temporarily boost your magical status. Using Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear temporarily increases your magic attack by +20% for 3 minutes. Another Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear that temporarily increases your fire damage to +20% for 3 minutes.

Gears

For Armor, I like to wear Scaled Armor Set, which provides excellent protection for my character. For Helms, Navy Hood protects the character’s head from damage while also increasing Mind.

These spells and equipment can meet the basic requirements of Sword of Night and Flame. Be careful with how this build works. First, you can consume Crystal Tears, cast Golden Vow, and Black Flame’s Protection to enhance your character. After that, you can cast Freezing Mist around, then use Night-and-Flame Stance weapon skill.
