Source: IGGMStickers for Rewards is a fun feature in Monopoly GO that turns all duplicate cards into Stars, which can be used to open three types of Vaults. These Vaults can be opened once every 24 hours and contain valuable rewards.
In this guide, we’ll go over the details of how Vaults work in Monopoly GO, including how many Stars you need to get a Vault, how you actually get Stars for a Vault, and which Vaults have the highest Star value.
What Are Vaults?
Vaults are special reward boxes that you can open if you have a certain number of Stars. You can find a Vault by going to your Albums and clicking on the small vault icon in the bottom right corner.
Currently, there are three Vaults to choose from in Monopoly Go, as follows:
- Orange Vault: Contains 170-230 Free Dice Rolls and a 3-Star Pink Sticker Pack.
- Blue Vault: Includes 300-420 Free Dice Rolls and One 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack.
- Pink/Gold Vault: Includes 425-575 Free Dice Rolls, Two 4-Star Blue Sticker Packs, and One 5-Star Purple Sticker Pack.
The most important thing to remember about Vaults is to only pick the most expensive ones. Pink/Gold 800 Stars Vault is worth a lot more than the other Vaults.
How To Get More Stars?
Stars are simply conversions for duplicate stickers. You get one star for each star value of each duplicate Monopoly Go Card you have. The exception is Gold Stickers, which are worth twice their star value.
So while you might be bummed that you got another duplicate Gold Sticker, at least you know you’ll get plenty of Stars to help you get to the next Pink/Gold Vault.
Selecting Stickers To Exchange For Vaults
Once you have enough Stars for a Vault and are selecting the best Vault because it offers the best value, you then have to select the stickers you want to exchange for Vault.
Note that you can either let the game select the stickers for you, or you can select the stickers yourself. The easiest way is to let the game select the stickers for you, and then you can just adjust anything you want to change by tapping on the sticker and selecting the plus or minus sign.
But check carefully, because sometimes you may be surprised to see some of your best duplicate stickers selected for Vault trades. This is not accidental. Because some people have complained that their best 4-Star and 5-Star stickers were used instead of 1-Star stickers. Once you select these duplicate stickers and hit the exchange button, the selected duplicate stickers will disappear. So choose carefully.
When checking Monopoly Go Cards you selected to trade, note that the stickers you see are in order by the number of identical stickers traded, not by their star value. So you have to check carefully to make sure you are not exchanging any duplicate stickers that you want to keep.
While it costs 800 Stars to get the best Monopoly Go Stars Vaults, it is recommended that you wait until you have a little more money than that so that you can save your best and most tradeable stickers, such as any 4-Star and 5-Star stickers, and avoid giving them up in Vault exchange.
I must remind you that it is much easier to get a lot of low-value stickers than to get a single 5-Star sticker, so try not to use them in Vault exchange as they will come in handy when trading.
You can also trade any duplicate Gold Stickers, though, especially if they have already appeared in Golden Blitz, as they are unlikely to appear in Golden Blitz again. So you can benefit from the double stars they provide and trade them.
Vault Time Limit
While you can trade as many Vaults as you have Stars, like I said before, you can only trade Stars for Vaults once every 24 hours. So if you have already accumulated a lot of Stars and plan to enter a lot of Vaults at the same time, you won’t be able to do so.
Extra Tips
Here’s another little tip that’s useful when you finish an Album, and that’s using the exchange feature when Album resets. You can put some stickers in an exchange with a friend, making sure it’s someone you trust. Then when you finish Album, they can decline the exchange and you’ll get stickers to give you a head start on the next Album.
Another thing you might not know is that when you clear an Album, the remaining stickers are removed, but their star value is retained. So while those duplicate stickers can’t be used in your new Album, you get to keep their original star value, which is great for getting more Vaults.
What To Do With Leftover Cards?
In previous seasons, you were given a Vault based on the number of Stars you had. Unfortunately, you only get one Vault, and any remaining Stars are removed from the game. So if you have 600 Stars at the end of a season, at the start of a new season you’ll get Blue Vault, which costs 500 Stars, and your remaining 100 Stars are removed.
So if you’re at the end of a season, it’s a good idea to start exchanging Vaults in time for the season to end. Since there’s a one Vault every 24 hours rule, you just have to remember to save up the cost of your most expensive Vault so you can get that Vault at the start of the new season.
Another idea is to give away some stickers! If you have too many stickers and you’ll lose them anyway at the end of the season, you can also give some stickers to your friends. They may need a specific sticker or are collecting spare stickers to exchange for stars.
That’s it for you. With this guide, you can understand how Star Vaults work in Monopoly Go. Bring your friends along, start accumulating Stars and exchanging Vaults, and get ready to become a real estate tycoon!
