You can get Elbst Horn through the Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Esoterics event, which is the item needed to unlock Cavalry Elbst. If you are interested in this, then you need to act quickly, because this event will only last until April 13, when Patch 5.5 part one is released.
Irregular Tombstones
If you want to get Elbst Horn, you need 30 Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics. So to get them you need to complete specific duties first, which is related to the Moogle Treasure Trove event. You will see a Moogle symbol next to the duties included in the Moogle Treasure Trove event. You can complete these duties with your teammates. If you’re in an undersized party, you will not get a tombstone.
Itinerant Moogle
After you get 30 Irregular Tombstones of Esoterics, you need to find an Itinerant Moogle NPC, so you can exchange your tombstones for Elbst Horn. There are 3 Itinerant Moogle NPCs in FFXIV, one for each city.
- One in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks at X:9.4 Y:11.6
- One in New Gridania at X:12.4 Y:12.1
- One in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald at X:9.6 Y:9.1
Once you find one of the 3 Itinerant Moogle NPCs, you can talk to them and exchange your 30 irregular Tombstones of Esoterics for Elbst Horn. You can only get irregular Tombstones of Esoterics until April 13th, you can exchange them before patch 6.0.
